clexton27 - Quartiers Généraux
I have both enjoyed and been fascinated with light war games since I was a young boy. Today, I still remain enthusiastic about the value of wargaming as an instructional tool. Through wargaming, children and adults can at least garner some sense of appreciation for the frustrations and logistical headaches that prior generations had to deal with in combat. I find Memoir 44 to be excellent in demonstrating some of the rudimentary aspects of combat [firing range, terrain dynamics, coordination of units, etc.] I am appreciative of all the efforts of many others on this forum who want not only to preserve the real history of these battles but who also want to teach others as well.
