Historical Background:
July 1st, 1942. Rommel decides to press his advantage and advance towards Egypt. The only thing standing between him and Cairo is the coastal town of El Alamein...

Version 1.1 The following changes/ conditions have been implemented and/ or noted:
1. 7 Victory Medals (vs. 6 originally)
2. The Allied French Resistance Unit represents a Free French unit that fought for the Allies.
3. Italian units are NOT able to retreat 3 hexes per flag.
4. Since this is an Early War scenario, Blitz Rules are in effect for the Axis.
5. The trench in the Allied Center has been replaced with a hill and the Australian infantry is behind sandbags

Conditions of Victory:
The exit hexes represent a permanent medal objective for the Axis forces. The town of El Alamein is a temporary medal objective for the Axis.

Special Rules:
North Africa Desert Rules are in effect
Blitz rules are in effect for the Axis
The minefields belong to the Allies
