As an integral part of Operation Torch, the Allied landings in French North Africa, Task Force "Goalpost" under the command of General Lucian K. Truscott was assigned the capture of the Moroccan port of Kenitra, then known as Port Lyautey after the French marshal of World War I. Their initial objective was the seizure of the coastal town of Mehdia and its ancient fortress ("Kasbah"), defended by a Vichy French artillery battery.
Axis Player (Vichy France):
- Take 4 Command cards.
Allied Player (United States):
- Take 6 Command cards.
- You move first.
Conditions of Victory:
The marked hex near the Kasbah is a Temporary Medal Objective for the Allied player.
Night attack rules (Actions 19 - Night Attacks) are in effect.
Place badges on the US elite infantry (Troops 2 - Specialized Units) and engineer (Troops 4 - Combat Engineers) units.
