[Angaur] Northern Landing - September 17, 1944

Historical Background:
On 17 of September 1944, the 322nd RCT landed on Beach Red on the Northeast of Anguar. This was after a preliminary bombardment by the battleship, USS Tennessee, as well as one heavy cruiser and three light cruisers. Dauntless dive bombers from the USS Wasp (CV-18) also attacked the beaches and LCI(G)'s fired 4.5in rockets to support the landing. They only encountered only minor resistance on landing but met stiffer resistance once it moved off the beach.

The stage is set, the battle lines are drawn and you are in command, the rest is history.
