Historical Background:
16 February the Germans in command, General von Mackensen, struck a violent attack on the Allied beachhead at Anzio.
Anglo American commanders are afraid of being thrown back into the sea. Luckily for them, the advance of the Germans is massive, but difficult for the land flooded by the rain, disadvantageous for the number of German Panzer tanks, also the resistance of allies is very valuable.
February 19, General Mackensen suspends its to reorganize the troops. The Allies then attack with the decision, is one of the greatest battles of World War II.
February 20 after the violent battle, even for the massive and skillful use of artillery by the Allies the German general decides to give up, many Germans surrender. On the ground are thirty-eight deaths.
