Historical Background:
Three days have past since the landings on the 22nd. After consolidating the beachhead and thwarting a raid at Lympne, von Manstein ordered the 10th Panzer and the LSSAH, supported by XXXXI Corps to break through at Selstead and advance on the road towards Canterbury. The 2nd New Zealand Division was quickly overwhelmed and soon forward elements of the 10th Panzer reached the Dover Road. British High Command realized where the weak spot may be in the German lines and sent the 1st Armored Division to hit the southern edge of the developing German bulge. However, Hitler's best, the Leibstandarte was sent to save the situation.

The battle was a moderate success for Commonwealth forces as they successfully halted the German advance at Kingston and forced the SS out of Elham, thus making the first step towards encircling the XXXXI Corps based at Denton.

The stage is set, the battle lines are drawn and you are in command. The rest is history.
