Historical Background:
The Allies landed in Provence the august 15th. Several hundreds kilometers in the south of France, the french resistance began the battle to liberate the city of Carmaux and its surroundings.
The battle longed three days. The front was eight kilometers wide and local actions took place in an area of 80 km of diameter.
2 000 resistants fought and repulsed the counter-attack of 2 500 soldiers of the German army.
Carmaux has been the first city of the south west of France liberate on its on ; Carmaux received the "Croix de guerre" medal.

Briefing:
This scenario tells about an unknown battle of the France's liberation that occurred in 1944.

Allied player draws five cards. He plays first.
German player begins with only one card. At the end of his turn, the German player takes two cards. When he gets five cards in hand, the German player plays normaly.

Conditions of Victory:
Victory : 10 points.

Rivière-sur-Tarn hex gives a temporary victory medal. Two city hex and power plant hex of Carmaux are temporary victory medals hex too. All of these hex are temporary victory hex for both sides.

Special Rules:
Mortar and machine-gun allied units are played as normal equipped units (post 1942 equipment), they don't have the resistant abilities.

Allies player can't play "Air power" card. If this card is picked up, he must discard it and take another one.

Resitance units in Rivières-sur-Tarn and next to Tanus' Bridge are camouflaged (Action 16).

Battle stars locate churches (Terrain 19). Church allows to ignore one retreat flag.
