Historical Background:
In this short battle, new players have a chance to use Artillery, Armor, and Infantry as they try to capture a city objective or eliminate enough of the other teams units to win.

This battle can be played before "Young Generals II" but should not be played before "Young Generals" because it adds a lot of new rules and units before young players fully understand the basic rules and units.

If you haven't already introduced "Take Ground" or "Armor Overrun", those rules should be explained and practiced in this battle. Elite units are also used for this battle.

Briefing:
Axis Player:
Take 5 Command Cards.

Allied Player:
Take 5 Command Cards.

The player with less experience playing Memoir '44 moves first.

Conditions of Victory:
6 Medals.

The two cities count as Temporary Objective medals for the other team.

Special Rules:
Units with badges are Elite Units (Troops 2).
