Historical Background: On the morning of June 28th, 1941 the people of Volkovysk, a small community in the Soviet steppe, awoke to find Germans surrounding their city. The Soviet leaders ordered an evacuation of the troops in the area. The German forces, headed by Heinz Guderien, swept in and began advancing into Pripet Marshes. They advanced on the fleeing Soviet troops and began to engage with them in combat. The massive Red Army soon found their numbers dwindling and they were soon encircled. The stage is set, the battle lines are drawn, you are in command, the rest is history.
Briefing: Axis player take 5 command cards. You move first. Russian player take 4 command cards
Conditions of Victory: 6 medals One hex of the town of Volkovysk count as a Victory Medal. Place an objective medal on the hex indicated. If the unit moves off or is eliminated it no longer counts.
