There are problems with this scenario: it cannot be set-up using the standard terrain tiles of Memoir '44 and the selected extensions. There are too many terrains of one or more types. Please contact the author.

Historical Background:
April 29, 1945, elements of the Russian 3rd Shock Army crossed the Moltke Bridge to attempt to capture the Pride of Berlin, the Reichstag.
The German defenders, severely depleted remnants of Waffen-SS and Wehrmacht Heer units augmented by the Berlin police force, Hitler Youth, and the Volkssturm fought to the bitter end.
After a hard first day of fighting without artillery support the Russians captured the Gestapo Headquarters but alas could not hold it and were repelled.
On the second day of fighting the Russians had resolved their artillery support issue and recaptured the Gestapo HQ, and by later in the evening captured the Reichstag.
The war was finally ended in the next couple of days.

Briefing:
Germans are making a last defense of the Fatherland

The Russians are attempting to crush the last vestiges of the Third Reich.

Conditions of Victory:
Germans win if they score 10 medals

Russians win if they capture the Reichstag (sudden death - Raise the Red Banner) or 12 medals.

Special Rules:
No Air Sortie Cards are used

Both forces are staunch defenders.
Units in towns or ruins have the option to treat flags as hits and not retreat.

German units with Rosette are auxiliary units with three figures

Russians get the Barrage and Artillery Bombard cards (do not count against cards in hand)
They cannot be used until the Gestapo Headquarters has been captured for one full turn.
Play the starting artillery cards in lieu of a command card.
Once played place in the discard pile

Buildings are temporary medal objectives for the Russians

The Spree river hexes are impassable.

This setup requires 2 base sets of Memoir '44 and 2 sets of Eastern Front. Missing tiles will need to be substituted with winter villages for city hexes and winter forests for city ruins.

Please note that this scenario was not approved by Richard Borg or Days of Wonder, so you have to check yourself about playability, potential gaming issues, etc.
