Historical Background:
At the end of August 1944, after the operation Overlord, the 4 th Special Air Service leaves Brittany. The commando soldiers of this SAS are French and under British command. Equiped with 60 jeeps, three groups of the SAS drive fast to the centre of France. The new operation is named operation Spencer.
The mission is to stop German units who are coming from the South of France. The goal is to make them not crossing the river Loire.
During 10 days, the 4th SAS has harried the enemy, supported by an efficient air support.
During this period, more and more French Résistants attack Germans units that retreat to the North.
Fights will cease the 8th of September after negotiations lead by the German general Elster. The German reddition occurred the 14 of September in the Beaugency's city, close to Orléans.

Briefing:
German player : Draw 5 cards. You play first.
Allies player : Draw 5 cards.

Conditions of Victory:
German player: 5 medals.
Allies player : 6 medals with at least the temporary objective medal token in the city of Issoudun.

Special Rules:
"Barrage" and "Dig-in" cards are discard and new one are drawn.

German player :
- Half-tracks (Disaster at Dieppe) : 3 figurines ;
- Brandenburgers (troupe 18) : mark them with the German special forces marker or the Brandburgers marker ;
- Transport trucks (Troupe 17) : 3 figurines ; marked with the iron cross.
+ No air support : All Air cards are discard and replaced.
+ Exit : use "Exit" token rules. Units can leave the board on the left side. This gives a medal.

Allied player
- 4th SAS (Troupes 2). All British Infantery units are Special forces unit. Marker is useless ;
- French Résistance (Nation 1) : Use French Résistance marker ;
- Patrol cars (Disaster at Dieppe) : Allies vehicules are jeeps (2 figurines).
+ Air Power (or Air Sortie with Air Pack rules) can't occur before the 4th tour. With Air Pack rules, Allies player starts with the 2 Air Sortie cards.
+ Air strikes rule (Action 3)
+ SAS can dynamite bridges. The unit must be adjacent to a bridge hexagon. Activated unit that can fight can destroy the bridge : roll a dice, a star means the bridge blew up. If the unit is adjacent to an enemy unit, it can't destroy the bridge but it can fight.
