Finnish Counter-Attack at Joensuu - December 29, 1939

Historical Background:
In late December 1939 the Finns launched a successful series of counter attacks against invading the soviet forces. At Joensuu ski troops spear headed the Finnish attack and driving back the soviet forces. Apart from just ski troops the Finnish had another card up their sleeve they would throw Molotov cocktails at soviet tanks causing the soviet tanks to burst into flame and explode. The Soviets were ill equipped and let down by bad command structure , these two factors combined added up to the complete destruction of the Soviet forces around Joensuu.
