There are problems with this scenario: it cannot be set-up using the standard terrain tiles of Memoir '44 and the selected extensions. There are too many terrains of one or more types. Please contact the author.

Historical Background:
When the 1st Belorussian front started its assault on Seelow heights in order to open the way for final assault on Berlin, Frankfurt am Oder was still a strong fortress guarding the roads to Berlin south of the Heights, guarded by Army Group Weichsel under General Henrici. Soviet forces have already established strong bridgeheads both north and south of Frankfurt and on 14th of April started shelling and bombing the city, preparing the ground for massive assault that followed. The city was a stage of bitter street fighting before the defenders, vastly outnumbered, were finally overrun by Soviets. After Franfurt fell, remnants of German 9th army who were encircled southwest from the city in "Halbe pocket", mounted a few desperate unsuccesful counterattacks on the Soviet positions to the north and south from the city.

Briefing:
German player: 5 cards
Soviet player: 5 cards
Soviet player plays first.

Conditions of Victory:
8 medals.

Special Rules:
All special units with badges follow the standard rules for such units.
One German special armor unit may be replaced by Tiger figure if available.
The bridges on the left and right should be the pontoons to represent bridgeheads but for the purpose of online playing I had to put the regular bridges. The warning about impossible setup is just because of these two excess bridges.
