Historical Background:
The Liberation of Paris (also known as the Battle for Paris) took place during World War II from 19 August 1944 until the surrender of the occupying German garrison on August 25th. It could be regarded as the last battle in the Battle for Normandy.
The Liberation of Paris started with an uprising by the French Resistance against the German garrison on August the 19th. On August 24th, the French Forces of the Interior (Forces franšaises de l'intÚrieur, FFI) received reinforcements from the Free French Army of Liberation and from the U.S. Third Army under General Patton.

Briefing:

Conditions of Victory:
6 medals for each side. Two town hexes count as a temporary victory medal for the allies.
