Historical Background:
To avert a defeat of the Italian forces in Africa, the Germans deployed reinforcements in Libya. These troops were sent into action the day they arrived on the continent. Their tanks were still painted dark grey. One of the first tasks was to secure roads and infrastructure to assure free passage for supplies and troops. On the road to Sirte, they encountered the first opposition.

Briefing:
Axis player draws 5 cards and plays first.
Allied player draws 5 cards.

Conditions of Victory:
6 medals.
The town hex is worth one temporary medal for the allied side.
Exit rules are in effect on the road to Sirte for the Axis forces.

Special Rules:
North African Desert rules are in effect.
Axis infantry are all special forces.
The allied infantry on the ridges are special forces.
The allied armored units are either Light Motorized divisions from New Zealand with 2 figures each, or special forces with 4 figures each.
