The online version of Ticket to Ride also introduces Robots (AKA "Bots"). These robots are programs that play like other players. If you want to practice or play alone against non-human opponents, you can create a table with robots as the other players. Note that in this case, your game will not be ranked.
You can play Ticket to Ride Online two different ways. Play right away using the Web Game by simply clicking the "Play" button in the top menu bar. Or, get the Downloadable Game for a more complete experience (both Windows and Mac OS X versions are available).

The Online game offers different maps that you can purchase separately: the classic US map, the European map, and the Swiss map. The USA 1910 expansion can also be purchased separately giving you access to the special 1910 or Mega games options.
