Online Acronyms? Mon, 03 January 2011 02:45
Hello. I have just signed up for an on-line account to play TTR. There are a bunch on acronyms under the game's tab like, 1500+ No Block, that I have no idea what they mean. I would really hate to join the game and not have a clue on what kind of game there were looking for. Is there a place to go that has a list of what the acronyms mean?

Thanks!

1500+ means the creator wants only people with a rating of 1500 or higher to join. same idea with titles like 1400+, top 200 etc.

"no block(ing)" means the creator wants to play a game without any (intentional) blocking.
Blocking by the way is laying track solely or primarily meant to disturb your opponent's route, either to prevent him/her taking the longest route or hoping to prevent tickets being completed. It's a valid and legitimate strategy, but some people don't like it and agree before the game that they won't use it.

Thank you, Mr. Bean. This helps a lot! I could figure out a few like fast meaning fast play and the number 2 meaning 2 players but many of them stumped me like this one. I appreciate your help!

May I e-mail you in the future if I have any other questions?

Thanks!
