Of course there is no native M44 app, but this app allows to me play M44 online on my iPad as long as I'm on the same local network as my PC. I've played a half-dozen or so games this way now.

The app works very well. The graphics are sharp, the animations are smooth, etc. If there were a native M44 app for the iPad, this is how I would imagine it.

There is also a way that this app will let you access your PC from outside your local network, though I haven't tried that feature. [edit: I tried it, and it works very well also]

At the time of this posting, the app is 4.99 US

I would suggest checking online documentation for the app. Usually, for stuff like this you need to open a port in your router firewall and forward to the machine.

In fact, a cursory search on "splashtop remote desktop router port" gets me to a list of results with the FAQ high on the list. Here's the specific FAQ question that addresses your issue (I think):

Hmm. I guess I'm a little confused - I'm not having any issues with the app. Works perfectly, no complaints.
