Arg! Crushed Boxes!

Howdy,
I love all things Ticket to Ride and I've got a problem, recently I had a shelf failure that absolutely crushed my Ticket to Ride base game and the Map Collection 2 box, all the components are okay, and while a bit dinged the plastic inserts are okay, but both boxes are write offs.
Is it possible to get empty cardboard boxes for the Ticket to Ride base game AND the Map Collection 2 (India?) if yes, how?
thanks

I would guess that it's pretty uncommon for DoW to send out new boxes to people, but it might be worth checking into. The worst they'll say is, "Sorry, we can't do that."
You can contact them over at this area of their web site: http://www.daysofwonder.com/en/contact/
Good luck and sorry about the shelf disaster!

If DoW can ship you the empty boxes they could be the most expensive boxes you'd buy unless they ship them flatten (for you to assemble).
The freight on empty boxes would be the same as on full boxes.

See, I'd totally pay the freight to get the empty boxes to me, it'd likely be a touch cheaper seeing as how they'd be empty

Shipping charges are often based on volume and weight - so a carton containing an empty box will use the volumetric charge.

Meh, even then it's still cheaper than any other solution I can think of.

I'll be a little bit surprised if they send out new boxes, but you never know until you ask. Good luck and I hope you can figure out a more stable shelving solution so this doesn't happen again! I can't imagine how disappointed you must be to have your games all banged up. It makes me think I'd better be careful what selves I put my own games on.

It's funny, I've got a large collection and I guess the regular use wear on them effected the intrigity of the boxes, my Carcasonne box was reletively unscathed as was my Small World. (only other games on the same shelf as my Ticket stuff)

Fantastic!
Just got an e-mail from a DoW rep, they are going to mail out the empty boxes for me!
That's some gosh darn stellar customer service.

Yay!! This is just another example of the top notch customer service that DoW provides! Thanks for sharing, and enjoy the new boxes for your poor battered games.

Days of Wonder, if you're listening, I'd love some empty TTR boxes with the map collections in them...
