As I cannot find a simple way to ask the question to the staff at Days of Wonder, I might as well post it here and send a letter with my suggestion.
Now that Days of Wonder has come out with several different maps and they have the brilliant idea to save by reusing the pieces from one set to the next. My request would be for the company to offer a special designed suitcase that has special holders for all the maps and all the cards and pieces that can be obtained. Maybe a couple of empty map racks so that any future ones can be added. I think this would be a great idea, as when I go to play with others and I bring along my USA, German, Africa, Asia, Netherlands, India, boxes I feel like I'm moving in. Sure one suit case might be the size of a carry on suit case but it would add to the wonder of the game. They could sell it as a special edition with all the current maps and pieces in it or as an empty suitcase that we could then fill with the maps we have already.

Just my Thoughts.

I would certainly get one!! Very Happy

This sounds like a great idea for a kickstarter...lots of people have posted projects that help players organize games like Dominion, so now someone could make the ultimate TTR carry bag. If I had the knowledge I would create a project like this! Sadly I don't, but maybe someone reading these forums could do it. Cool

So far I've been able to fit Rails and Sails, USA, Nordic, MCV5, and my 12 custom maps in the Rails and Sails box.

The trick is to use the UK deck as a "catch-all" deck. Just be sure to add the harbor symbols for Rails and Sails :P

I would definitely get one (although I would hope to be able to get some kind of notification email if it does become available). I usually bring my TTR games to my game night, but they do take up a significant amount of space, so it would definitely be easier to carry and I might be able to bring all of them (instead of just some) if they were more compact in a specialized case. Not a bad idea!
