Doc - Qorlas 3 - 3 99 - 112 107 - 103 117 - 77 85 - 112 126 - 97 94 - 112 Game 1: Mon-NO and Tor-Mia (discarded LA-Mia) I start with 6 greens to try a bluff on a big south. Doc plays Hou-NO! I Play 6 reds and then fake an attempt to go west while going north. My bluff works, Doc goes north in the center with a slow route and I win the game Game 2: Sea-LA KC-Hou (discarded NY-Atl) I start with 6 blacks and Doc answer with 6 greens... BAD!!! I try to block a south tix when Doc play LA-Pho but he goes on to complete LA-CHI and Win-Hou. I complete a route though Pho, Por, Sea, Cal, Hel down to Atl. I draw 3 rounds to end and find Hel-LA but my KC-Hou is dead. I think to draw againwith 3 possible tix in last round but I need to decide between longest and draw... I go for longest and lose by 4. Could have done better in this one. Game 3: Van-SFe, Den-ELP Played bad this one... totally outplayed Game 4: Win-HOU, Mon-NO and MOn-Atl I think a lot and keep all 3 fearing from the start to be blocked out of Hou I start with 6 greys 6 Whites and 5 Blacks trying to hide my north-south tix while Doc play 6 Oranges and 6 Purples. I go trying to save NY to hide again the south part of the route but Doc plays 4 yellows to Nas!!!! I play Nas-Atl to avoid blocks and Doc starts a full time block. He thinks I don't have blacks+locos for nas-ral but luckily I kept my last locos for it and I am able to connect atl with mon. I risk to be blocked out of Hou: Doc thinks about it but doesn't complete the block. Really an hard game! Game 5: La-NY KC-HOU I play in a too slow route and I am not competitive in this game Game 6: La-CHI LA-NY really a nice combo! but also a risky one. I fear that Doc is going to block me out of NY or LA and I have only two blacks too at 42 cards but luckily I have also 6 locos. I start from 6 oranges and 4 greens in the middle but Doc plays 3 reds and 6 purples.... East.... really BAD!! I play 4 blues and Doc plays Chi-PIT. I am starting to fear of being dead here... I play 4 yellows NAs-PIT... Doc play Pit-SLOuis to block me from the East.. Pit-Tor and Doc 5 greens... the I play 4 whites to connect denver with nashville... I play 2 locos to NY that luckily is still openand then I am able to connect LA via 2 grey to Sfe and 6 blacks to close with 3 SFE-Pho and 3 Pho-LA This was a really hard game and from the middle of it I had not a real B option... I was lucky that Doc didn't block on 4 whites to Toronto. Really an hard series! We exchanged the start in game 1 and 2 but then after that the starter always won. A good tie that gives a tie also in the clash. A wonderful clash with Champagne! Thanks al for the games and good luck in your remaining clashes! Schachus vs Cromze : 2-4 Very nice series, tough clash !! I feel quite lucky about the games I won (1st game 42...) but I know I made some mistakes on the games lost.... Game 4 I did some nasty block on cal-pho (missing Win-LR by the way), but Schachus had some nice recover building a good longest kicking mine. Very well played. Last game I was half tired / half happy with the win so I didn't try anything, could have try to early block LA-Mia, could have tried to kick longest at middle game... too passive Thanks for the games Markus, good luck for the next rounds ! Thanks a lot for the nice matches mietzie. In Game 3 luck was on my side to find 1 of 3. The games are all very tight where i had often the better end cause of good combis or full of best colours.
Lokos are raining all the clash where i played very loose to complete in 8 or 9. All the best for you and your nice Team in upcomimg clashes.

Lexx - Qorlas 3 - 3 119 - 122 118 - 106 124 - 103 111 - 115 125 - 114 93 - 107 Nice and hard fought series. All the games were decided by the starting tix. Game 1: LA-MIA SF-ATL Big south! It is a good start. I try to make a good route starting with 6 black 3 purples and 5 oranges Elp-LA-SF-SLC to hide the big tix. Luckily Lexx has Cal-SLC and blocks from SLC going North. I can complete the tix via 5 yellows 2 grey 3 greens 5 blues and 6 reds. At the end I see that Lexx has the longest and 20 points in tix. I count and re-count and I end the game knowing I am ahead of 3 points. Game 2: La-MIA LA-NY (dropped tor-mia) My biggest regret in this series. I wait and wait to play 6 blacks because I fear that Lexx would start to block me after the previous game. Lexx starts with 6 blacks.... (aargh) I am able to do a route that completes both tix but Lexx plays a nice route in the west and wins the game. I should have played 6 black with a couple of locos before Lexx and this could have given the game a different spin. Game 3: SF-Atl Por-Pho South again! Bad really bad. I need to play a slow route again after Lexx takes the 5 yellows I wished to use for my better option. I am able to finish my tix but the game ends 1 round too soon with me with the 6 blues in hand and losing the longest. Probablu I had a chance in this game but it was hard from the start to find a way to win it. Lexx played nicely his center to west tix. Game 4: La-CHI Dul-ELP Now these are different tix!!! One of my preferred combos! I start with 6 black just to be sure then 4 purples and 4 blues. Lexx starts with 6 oranges and go for a nortish route. After he plays 2 grey tor-pit I play 6 purples burning 3 locos and practically take the control of the game here. I will win by few points but playing the 5 yellows elp-okla I remain with reds and whites in hand that I can play both north and south keeping the option to keep longest with each configuration. Lexx ends the game really quick but I am able to finish my route and after counting and recounting I see that the only tix on lexx route are not enough against my 26 points. A win similar to game 1. By few points but always in control during the game. Game 5: Sf-atl Cal-SLC South again!! and 3rd time sf-atl after 2 la-mia wow!!! I decide at the game start to play it via the north but the croupier gives me bad colors for the north and good colors for the south so I change my plans I start 6 whites but Lexx plays 6 yellows 6 oranges (that I cannot play before) and 6 purples..... one big north incoming and I need to go south. When he plays 6 blues I try to block the link between 6 blues and 6 yellows with succes and play succesfully to atl via 5 oranges 3 purples hel-slc 4 blues 3 purples sf-la 6 black 2 grey hou-no, 6 greens and 4 yellows no-atl. I have longest but my only hope is to have killed a cal-pho sea-la hel-la or similar He has Van-Mon Por-Pho and that is enough for him to win the game Game 6: Den-Pit Kc -Hou (discarded Mon-NO) smaller tix but all difficult combos. I decide to go for the easier one and to fake another south tix. I play quick 6 blacks and 6 greens to fake another south tix like many games in this series. My thought is that I never played a big south tix in this way so Lexx will try to block me thinking I am trying to hide it by playing it with the standard route. He blocks hou-no (good!!!) I continue with 5 yellows and he plays 1 nas-atl (even better) 3 oranges chi-pit and then 4 blues 4 purples and 4 reds chi-oma-den-okla. Lexx doesn't believe anynore in my bluff but he lost time already with the first two moves. I am able to finish with 5 reds butrning 3 locos and 6 whites. I keep my last loco to complete KC-Hou. Lexx made a westish route but he has only por-pho in it so he has a dead tix. Luckily for me he had por-pho ny-atl and went for blockinh from the start falling in my bluff giving me the win and the tie in our series. A really good tie in the series for me because it means that Italy wins the clash!! Thanks for the games Lexx! They were realy fought and I had an hard time to win my 3 games. Ooooooh. R5. RUS-ITA RUS Sivorro vs ITA barbarnaud 5-1 My first win in the NC came tonight. It was epic luck for me. During first 3 games I make deal with 6 black without adding a loko. Last 12 games no one time. And all games I was accompanied with monster combos. Having not bad colors lose with them is hard. Sorry another time, Barbara! You tried well. 1. La-Mia + La-NY No longest for me. But 6 black, green, red and grey. 126-95 2. La-Mia + Sf-Atl Now again 6 black, green, red and orange. Was flexible with south pass. Good colors. 132-98 3. La-Chi + Dul-Paso + Cal-Phoe. Pretty nice combo! Better i think only 42. Grab 6 oranges (like MASTER KASI LIKES) and 6 black. Then manage longest. Last turn block Barbara longest in Van-Cal. So +1 for me. 141-97 4. Hel-La + Por-Phoe Lost. Barbara grab 6 black first time. Then blocked me twice and kill both tix. Was good colors but crappy played. Easy win for her. 70-114 5. Por-Phoe + La-Chi Luck came back. Classic manage 44-longest with 6 orange, yellow, blue, black and green. Barbara have Sea-Ny + Tor-Mia. Last turn she had to draw. If Van-Mon was founded she win. But only +6. 126-115 6. Mon-NO + SSM-Nash Playing with total win behind shoulders makes possible to win with this not good combo. I have 8 black, but don't need 6er) Grab 6 purple, grey and red. Then complete my tix. Barabara had Sf-Atl + Por-Phoe. I win in 6 red which she wanted to grab but I was first. He put 5 red not in longest and 3 to phoe. So last turn I can overdraw to collect 6 oranges and make it +15. 128-120 So, Barbara, thank you a lot for this match. It was pretty nice to face you up. As usual with Italian players. Especially female) Wish you more luck in upcoming clashes, cause today you don't had it. And last. My first ever win in the NC I want to dedicate to my teacher, coach and friend Italian TTR Champion perfect father of 3 kids MARCO PELLINI. Only by his efforts I became strong on US Map. In the beginning of summer I played like 1300-1400 player and don't see light in the end of the tunnel. He really great tell me about my play. After every turn he stopped the game and told me about mistakes and repeat, repeat. No one of my teammates or friends can't teach me so perfect like this guy. I'm really appreciated. Soul of my playing skills now named SUPERPELLO. Thank you! So, It can be my last play on this Round Robin. Or may be not) cu all in QT Captains. AGT-DN vs Knockando 4-2 * start ° longest 1°-0 +CAL-PHO +SSM-OKL [LA-MI] vs +SFR-ATL +DUL-HOU - 6 lokos Perfect combo incl. colours for perfect route with opp not bothering - finish in 9 moves with longest on my side, nothing more to say 1-1° +LA-MI +SSM-NAS [VAN-SFE] vs +SEA-LA +CHI-SFE - 4 lokos Longest was not really an aim with slow combo without start, so I didn't mind the center detour after him blocking 2er at HOU (maybe being more ambitious would have made it here) - in the end only two tix on his route after fast finish; without minus he wins, but he took several times thinking, especially after my 6 green so I hoped for HOU dead and didn't go fishing with 4 tix to find on my route - wrong decision! 2°-1 +22 +SSM-NAS [DUL-HOU] vs +4 +DEN-PIT (found:-SSM-OKL) - 5 lokos Better combo for me, 22 with my colours nearly unblockable - longest decided and he had to find both tix on his route but nada 3°-1 +22 -5 [SEA-LA] vs +CAL-PHO +SSM-OKL - 6 lokos Once again big combo for me - crucial was 6 purple I guess, so I could get longest I needed with one tic lost 3°-2 +21 +MON-NO [CHI-NO] vs +22 +DUL-ELP (found: +DAL-NY) - 4 lokos I had to play risky from the beginning with 1 black 4 lokos and red/blue long time short - Sylvain didn't block several bottle necks and I came through with LA-MI faked and longest due to blocking a loop - his 3 blue MON-NY after my early NY-PIT was crucial, but I reached MON via BOS in the end and he went fishing due to 20/21 possibility - I needed him to get minus, without fishing he would have won of course, but he found 3! tix (as he mentioned) to fulfill in one turn, no big surprise, nine! tix on/near the route (20 13 13 11 11 9 9 7 4) to get with his last 4er - I also could have taken tix the last turn with 20 12 9 6 to find but there still was a possibility he gets minus; only 20 or 2 other tix would have been enough for me btw - again wrong decision not to try 4°-2 +4 +CAL-PHO [DEN-PIT] vs +VAN-SFE +POR-PHO - 8 lokos Hold all three? Naaah, DEN-PIT will make longest more difficult - right decision! 8 lokos help a lot, especially when you are short on black, white and yellow with this combo and your opp interferes. I needed 7 of them for 6 white + 6 black - longest was decisive in the end, crucial here was the fact Sylvain didn't block 5 red when he had the chance - once again lucky me After all, better combos for me.
