How to get expansions on TtR?

Just started playing TtR on my smartphone. Is bying the only way to get access to the other expansions, Asia, Nordic countries etc.?

Yes, buying them is the only way to get other maps. There is no way to unlock them through game play or anything.

Like I said in your other post, you should have access to the full version if you already paid for it.
One thing you can try is to go into your purchased apps and download the Pocket version again to see what you already have. It's been removed from the App store but you still have access to it from your history.

I believe if there is an open game or you are invited to a game that uses a map that you don't own you'll still be able to play it. I was looking for documentation that says this, but couldn't find it so I may be mistaken. The other problem with this is that you won't be able to create any games for maps this way so you are at the mercy of those who have it creating games and looking for open players.

I'll have to make sure but I don't think you have access to maps that you don't own.
