In addition to above, Siv had to give warnings as well in the AMC tourney being run at a similar time.
If I am, in fact, going to TD the SMC again this year, I am less inclined to include gen7* in the tourney unless something can be said or done to change my mind.
This has nothing to do with a ranking, nor is it a judgement as to whether gen7* can actually play reasonably well. It is simply that I want to run a tourney that people will enjoy participating in. If the history of a given player shows that they tend to cause problems, why would they be invited?
And so, gen7*, it remains to you to convince me and others that you can and will participate positively. It does not feel like you will - so fix it.

If I can add to the general7star issue list:
I played a 2-person game on Steam against him on Feb 3, 2017. With one play to finish the game, I was easily beating him and it was his turn. He let time run out on his session. As he was replaced by the bot, I got a message that I too had timed out (I had 4 minutes left to my game). The game aborted.
I have asked DOW to take a look to see if this is a loophole in their software for a player so worried about losing and losing points that he's figured out how to never (or rarely) lose. Reviewing his recent games, his only losses where very close games where he didn't know if he should pull this lame stunt or not.
Sad, pathetic, racist, and unclear on the concept of sarcasm.

Player leaving should be replaced by a bot and lose automatically the game.
Problem is there seems to be a bug when the player leaves in some specific conditions. And that this bug seems to be exploited on a regular basis by some players. I guess if you suspect someone to use this loophole you should post his name here so we could gather our informations and get to know who are those regulars (it happened to me around three times with some players having a seeemingly undeserved high rating).

For one, I would get very suspicious if the person would leave right before his timer expires. That's the situation where this bug/exploit was mostly reported.
Second thing to watch is the hisory of the opponent who did you that. Does he seldom/rarely looses by a small margin ? If so, he could be a regular exploiter of this bug and mean he's finishing his games only when he's winning or not really knowing if he's loosing or winning.
I don't know of any way to avoid this bug, other than having the players I suspect of this beahviour on my ignore list. This bug doesn't exist as far as I know on the web app java. But there's no Germany map either.
If you're feeling uncomfortable publicly accusing someone, maybe you could send me the player names by PM ?

A couple of days ago I noticed that in the Steam lobby several users were complaining about General7Star and were describing exactly the tactic described in this thread. They were advising others to put him on ignore list. I didn't think to get a screenshot, sorry.
My question though is about aliases. Some users on Steam were asserting that General7Star had been using the alias Pianistman and pulling the same crap. They were certain that those two usernames are the same person and that both should be blocked. It wasn't clear to me why they were so sure though.
Has anyone here seen Pianistman [I may not have the username exactly correct] using General7Star's particular sabotage-a-losing-game trick?

For additional information regarding this situation with pianistman and g7. G7 told me he played piano (and that it was a big deal to him) when he wanted to join the SMC a year plus ago. Adds another link beyond what some of the Steam players may be seeing.

There is overwhelming evidence by now for the community to know precisely the kind of player general7 blah blah blah is - twice in one day on steam, had him crushed, he takes advantage of the glitch, pulls tix on second last turn of game, bots, game aborted, program ends the game immediately with no chance for winning player to play last move; g7 chicken *&^%$ avoids the loss since DoW records those games as 0-0 aborted games. Second verse same as the first....

G7S cheated against me also. I was excited to beat the number one player until I realized he cheats. I had him beaten 5 minutes into a 45 minute game. He made me wait 40 minute s not making his last move. I threatened I was going to post here and after 35 minutes he told me something like "what's wrong with taking my time?" Then for some reason when he ran out of time I got a message that the game was aborted rather than a bit to replace him (not sure how he managed that).
I have screenshots to prove this all but can't figure out how to post them.

the issue with this player has been reported time and time again; DoW is not in charge any more and Asmodee does not really care about the community;
You are all high ranked players, you could try to join the tournaments so that you play agaist qualified players that respect the rules and each other.

viktor06001 played with bot on steam when my internet was crashed. When I came back he told me that he is Russian and doesn't understand English. So) I wrote him Russian language. But I no had any answer why he played with bot.

The sooner G7S record is deleted the better. It a open secret that he wins by playing lower players on Steam and aborting whenever he may lose. Undermines the whole rating system.
