So I discovered this amazing game at a family event and have been hooked since. I play constantly on the app version.

I have a question regarding the ethics of blocking in the game. I personally don't see it as an issue but I have encountered many people who complain about it.

Is it not part of the tactics of the game?

Say you get dealt poor tickets and are struggling so to win you may play a more defensive game?

If blocking is not viewed as acceptable does this not mean the game just comes down to luck of the draw? Both in terms of tickets you receive and colour trains you draw?

Obviously it's not like you want to play this way a lot, most of the fun is in building a perfect train with awesome tickets!

Just looking to get peoples views on this so I can understand what the general feeling is.

I block selectively and at the risk of angering my opponent. I'll block when it is an obvious path to winning. However, my block attempts often backfire when my opponent finds a way around the block. You need tough skin to block frequently!
