Any way to play an online game asynchronously? Wed, 25 December 2013 19:38
I own the Steam versions of both Ticket To Ride and Small World, and enjoy both of them. However, as best I can tell there is one feature of the Small World implementation which is missing from Ticket To Ride.

In Small World, you can create an online game with your buddies, even if they are not online at the time. You take your turn, and then it notifies the next player that it is their turn. They can take their turn at any time up to a specified time limit (the current maximum seems to be 48 hours). In this way, you can play a slower-paced game at your leisure, without requiring everyone to be online at once.

As far as I can tell, this isn't possible in Ticket To Ride online. Am I missing something? Or if this is indeed not currently possible, are there other folks out there who would like this feature? I'd like to be able to play with friends all over the world without having to try and arrange a time in which all of us can simultaneously log in to play. Thoughts?
