Painting Memoir Infantry

It took a while, but I finally finished my tutorial on painting Memoir '44 infantry.
The pictures aren't all done but I'll include those soon. Unfortunately I'm headed off to Mexico for a week long work trip, so I won't have a chance to import the pictures for a while.
Take a look at my User Page and learn how to paint 1/72nd infantry figures! Have a great week everyone!

That was very nice of you to bring and teach the great game of Memoir44 to your class. I know they really enjoy it because my 3rd grade nephew always wants to play a game whenever he comes to visit.
Thanks for the figure tutorial also. I got my start in painting tanks from Brummbar's tutorials and have found it to be a great past time. I'll look forward to seeing some of your work.

I'm back from Mexico! We had a long day of travel yesterday; we left Nogales Mexico at 8:00 in the morning and arrived back home at about 12:30 that night! It was a good trip though. We were working on building a church for a neighborhood that doesn't have one, and running fun camps for the neighborhood kids in the evenings.

| Thanks Roobarb! I'm glad you like it! Now just tell that to DoW!

| No problem. I wouldn't be painting my own guys if it wasn't for your help and advice. Thanks for all the pointers you gave me back when I was first trying it out.

Dear Rasmussen81
I had a chance to check out your USER PAGE and I must say that I am thoroughly impressed. I myself am an educator and found the guides you prepared for teaching children to play are very useful. Thanks for all you have done to spread the enjoyment of game playing with the next generation!

Good stuff -- I'm wondering if anyone has advice (or better, pics) for painting Soviet infantry and armor? I've done my Germans, Americans, and Japanese, but I'm a little unsure on colors for the Russians. I'm particularly interested to see if anyone has incorporated winter camo/whitewash with the armor.
PS...I'm a teacher, too -- college literature and composition, which doesn't give me a good enough excuse to incorporate M44, but I did just teach a course on the fiction of WWII, so I can at least suggest some good summer reading!

You will find this useful for your tanks at least - http://www.axishistory.com/index.php?id=4630
I'm starting to build a resources page on my site to help with color schemes, cam etc...
Hope it is of some use. And yes, that Camouflage Painting tutorial is still in the works...
Excellent job on the painting tutorial Rasmussen81! I'm sure it is very appreciated by the community at large. Well done!
