Tournaments? Tue, 21 October 2008 19:38
I'm fairly new to the game and enjoy it a great deal. I was curious if there is a resource to find out if there are any Memoir tournaments in my area or if there are any Memoir tournaments at all?

You can check the community page here

and search for your city/town for such items.

If you have difficulty finding face-2-face tournaments in and around your local area you can always join in the current ladder tournament played on-line.

I'll happily show you how to get up and running with the vassal programme and arrange some tuition on-line should you need it.

Tommie SL,
I'm sure you meant tutorial online. If this is one of those online colleges, I want to find out how I can get people to pay me tuition for showing them along.

Actually, I believe it's just a ladder tournament that you can jump into any time. I'm not actually playing in it right now, so the guys who are playing can tell you more!

Try PMing Tank Commander because I think he's helping lead the tournament. From what I understand, you can join anytime a new round starts. Check this link to read more about it and what's happened already in the tournament...

Actually, that link is kind of out of date Very Happy , but thats ok. That is the first round. We are now on the third round (once again, you can join at anytime), and we have moved completely over to a yahoo games group page, to keep from cluttering up the forums.

The link is:

http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/Mem44kingladder/

You'll need a yahoo account (it is easy to get) and contact Tank Commander either by PM or through the yahoo site. It is very easy to get in!

The round started on October 17th and will end on November 21st. That is plenty of time to play a single match.

Hi Sergey.

Yes, you can join in at any time. If fact, I do need an opponent for another player that signed on recently.

It is best for you to go to the yahoo site and join the group, then contact me through that site. I can then match you up.

Thanks
