A quick poll: How many of you know of/have noticed/use the Advance Search options in the list of Scenarios?

If you don't know what I mean, then please click on the + in the upper right corner at the top of any of the scenario lists, and report here that you didn't know about it. Very Happy

I use the advanced search option for Scenarios from the Front. I don't use it much for the official scenarios because it's a short enough list that I can just go through them on my own.

Welcome to the forum Kenny! It didn't take you long after getting the game (and the code) for you to get on here! Very Happy

Eric, I also use the advanced search option. I didn't realize that's what it was, but it's the search that I always use if I'm looking for a specific thing in the scenarios.

I noticed it the day it came out, and have used it on a number of occasions.

It would be more useful if partial names were allowed. (That way, for example, people would be able to find Brummbar's cool scenarios without having to figure out how to type an umlaut.)

By the way, I also miss the days when the Scenario List displayed all of the Allied/Axis victory counts. That was the most valuable feature to me. When choosing which scenario to play against a weaker opponent, I don't want to pick a side that has been overwhelmingly successful.

I'd never noticed that before, it'll be useful in future searches!

But then again, I don't look at the scenario lists often. Razz

Didn't noticed it before - but then I don't go searching through many of the scenarios either!

I was unaware of this feature until now. Thanks to let us know. Seems interesting for future use.

I tried to find the + in the corner, but all I had was a -. Guess I have been using the advanced search option the whole time.

Eric,
I have used it several times on the SftF scenarios. I find it very useful. I just need to careful to NOT put too much information in the search string.
