Battle of the Bulge - Campaign - UPDATED! Sat, 02 May 2009 20:26
I'm happy to announce that I've created a campaign about the well-known Battle of the Bulge! You can view it on my user page,
in the projects section!

It is composed mainly by Official scenarios, and there is one, which is a revised scenario of WARPLAYER. I will post it soon (the scenario. the campaign is already posted).

Any comments? Very Happy

Looks good!

But I would like to see some sort of score sheet to keep track of medals.
Can you do anything about that?

Thanks.

Yeah, that's true, I wasn't able to wait Razz , but I managed to make my first campaign. Also, a special scenario was added in the STFT section with the title : Crossing of the Meuse. It's a scenario, which may be played after you win the campaign after Bastogne, or Bastogne Corridor West. Have fun! Very Happy

Oh, the score sheets will be posted on Friday afternoon, or on the next weekend. I have exams next week, so I haven't got much time.
Sorry.

The score sheet can wait, as a teacher I feel I have to say you should focus on your education.

Good luck on your exams!

Your Battle of the Bulge campaign looks great. However, I can't seem to find the 'Relief of Bastogne' battle. If it's an official scenario, it's not in my air rules book. I also can't seem to find it in the SFTF. Thanks.

Try this:

The scenario is unofficial, it's made by Leo-T.

I guess I will remind folks that I've created a "Battle of the Bulge" scenario in my scenarios section of my user page. It is unique in that you turn the board sideways to play. It also uses heavy armor (Tiger/Panther) house rules. I've had good comments about it. Nemesszille, your campaign looks good, but I usually don't get to play but about one game a month. Sad

Thanks Nemisszilli. I don't know why I couldn't find that scenario in SFTF. 50th, I've played your scenario and it is very good! It's almost like a prequel to the breakthrough map. In my opinion the Battle of the Bulge should be played in a continuous single scenario over a lot of terrain to get the real feel of the German objectives. The Breakthrough map or even the Overlord map sideways(there's a thought) would be a great way to conduct the battle.

I just finished the campaign. The Germans won, but they had good dice-rollings. These are the results:

Twin Villages 6-4 Americans
Saint-Vith 6-2 Germans
Relief of 'Peiper' 6-5 Americans
Bastogne Corridor West 6-3 Germans

Final results:

21-17 German Major Victory. The road to Antwerp is opened Very Happy !

...ummm....pretty hard. But I'm progressing. I don't have any problems with exams at my native language (Hungarian), maths, but Romanian language - that's too much for me. If I would learn all day Romanian, there would be no time for Memoir '44! Razz
As an addition, the Romanian exam will be tomorrow.... Sad

Finally, I have done with my exams. So expect those score sheets this weekend.

HUGE UPDATE!

All of my Campaigns were updated, clicking on the scenario's name at the Campaign screen, where used scenarios are enlisted, will open the scenario in a new tab.

Also, the Battle of the Bulge Campaign went through a HUGE update, so it would be much more fun playing it now.
+Score Sheet.

Have fun! Very Happy

I couldn't see the Battle of the Bulge campaign though?

Is it referred to as a different title/name ?

It's under "'Unternehmen Wacht am Rhein' Campaign".

Do note, that I did this 6 years ago, way before Winter Wars was released.
