I never asked for closed games. I don't have to be the higher ranked player. Fix the observation if you don't like it. I've said this a whole lot of times. Fix it instead of whining.

Please - this is going way too far ...
after ignoring this thread for probably a week I am stunned about some of the posts here - be honest - you only need these posts for your personal ego - they do not help to solve any problems and furthermore they are not funny at all ...
I admit though that I like Mudda`s post (not only because he posted it twice)

Let me get this straight.
The TD made a ruling.
I didn't agree with it, I said so pretty nicely summed up my position. I don't agree with it but am fine with it.
I get bashed from all sides for daring to say anything.
The french teams speak out complaining argueing against it and removal of a player.
No one bashes them.
And now they will try to blackmail the community with this. Please who's putting on the "show" here.

See now he has to go calling names, because his earlier posts were LIES. I never asked for closed games. So he has to drop it and go the name calling route.
I agree with Mudda nad Masimo and eagerly await no more posts but as I've said a few times now, I doubt it will happen.

Ok, I took a moment to scan this thread.
This is my first NC. I have looked forward to the opportunity to play in NC with a group of excellent players. I was pleased to be asked to play on a team and I enjoyed the chance to get to play my first match.
Shamogi was asked/volunteered to be TD. Very few people were pushing others out of the way for the opportunity to do so. I am beginning to see why.
1. In order for someone to see an insult in purposely dropping points, you actually have to bother to spend time and look at scores and determine how points changed. So you are looking for a reason to have problems.
2. In order for someone to see an insult on one of the many corners of this forum, you have to do a search and plow through a lot of material in order to find someone writing about you in unflattering ways. So you are looking for a reason to have problems.
3. In order to suck an entire community into making increasingly degrading comments, you post in open public forums. So you are looking for a way to increase the magnitude of the problem.
4. And now, to top it off, we drag in racism. We drag in threats to remove teams or players in protest.
I am ashamed by all of our actions here. Including mine - yes, I probably make it worse by posting.
I have no personal problem with any of the players mentioned here (as far as I know). I'd rather not have read these posts, but I did.
I wonder if we really understand the difference between "trash talk" and hurtful insults and actions? I agree with mudda. The line has been crossed.
Personally, I'd like the opportunity to continue play in NC with chances to play TGV, theKid, RFAD and whomever else. So, I ask that people take a moment and cease the attacks. None of us here are without fault.
I am an ugly American. I cannot speak any other language other than English. I have never left the United States. I am a stupid farmer - and talk better to my broccoli than to people. I have a the fault of believing that peacemaking is a strength. I also have a fault of thinking that keeping silence is often good - but speaking out can be necessary.
I felt it was necessary. I could be wrong.
If I am, I apologize.

I vote that thekid should be drawn and quartered.
And I also vote for the termination of foudecoasters account via DOW for calling me a racist on 3 seperate occasions even after he was told to stop.

and for your insult to TEE, Kotay , termination of kid account too. I'm ok me and you ...both Bye Bye .....
|
There were no insults. Don't like the observation function change it. I don't have to be the higher ranked. Why should I? Can you answer that. Do you want to watch me is that why? Well too bad, no insult and again you're wrong with Kotay anyway as he was higher ranked to begin with. So more misinformation from you. What a surprise.
You called me a racist 3 times. You were asked to stop. You continued. I call for the removal of your account.

I think the same, that is why this thread I think.
And another quick argument I already explained in the past (but thekid never replied as he didn't reply to the "important" parts in my previous posts)
By dropping his ranking in entering games and disappearing immediately into bots, the insult is double:
- vs the competitive opponent ("I may think you're a cheater")
- vs the numerous players who wanted to have fun on DOW website and had to play vs a bot. Who cares????
It is just TOO MUCH. Why do we suffer with such behaviour, since so long? thekid did much more against the fun than for the game.

and sorry TD shamogi, you know we all love you. Nothing to blame with you. You took a decision, we will all respect it.
It is not anymore about the current NC but about unfairness of one single player who disgusted so much players in his TTR history, without any blames... (ask Leachris )
at DOW: you can ban me if necessary, i am adult and am responsible for my words. And I don't feel I am insulting anybody.
