I like the idea for all 4 players in the final being able to play.
need to make sure of good and clear ruling what to do in case of 2-2 and of course, if only 3 are able to play, then we stick with that possibility.
but basically, if all 4 from both teams can play, it would be a nice idea!

Difficult to say, it sounds good, but some teams are very balanced (four players with nearly same strength), some have only two or three top players, but maybe this is not good enough to reach the final...
Nevertheless, I think, you cannot force both teams to play the final with the complete team, but if both teams are willing to play the final with all four players it's great.

Just a note on scheduling:
When we were looking into the CL for this year, we realized we had a late start. So we set a schedule to try to move quickly to finish in an appropriate time frame. We did this with a thought that Single Player World Championship (SPWC), European Map Championship (EMC) and the Swiss Map Championship (SMC) would begin in April. We did not want too much overlap.
But maybe we did not need to worry. No action happening on that that I see. Is someone organizing this? Or has the "World TTR League seasons" that never seem to end, overtaken open tournaments?
Anyway, our decision for wanting the line-ups in quickly even if all games were not completed by play-off date closing was based on 2 factors: getting this tournament done in a timely way to respect: SPWC, EMC, & SMC and not having it linger so long that people lose interest. Does it matter that much which team you are playing on who you are scheduling in which slot? If so, That surprises me.

Yes, massive balls-up on my behalf regarding TAM-DD lineups. (I'm certainly not cut for this TDing malarkey). Play the matches as originally posted, and I'll take all the grief from both sides when results don't go the way they were supposed.
To err is human; to forgive is hopefully in a few TT players psyche. Really sorry TAM and DD. Best of luck to both for the remaining QF matchups.

stemayf - I don't think anyone is blaming you or upset at you. If anything, we're grateful for the effort you and onyx are putting into running this.
Many thanks to both of you.
