Servers down in the evening on East Coast US?

Each night I try to play Queen's Necklace, and am unable to reach your servers. Is that due to heavy load, or do you drop your servers for a time each night? It's about the only time I have to play.

No, servers are always up (or at least should be).
Just tested and the thing is working.

Ok, the entire site just appeared to be down since the 23rd. Is this the case, or was it merely down for me? I tried to access it from two separate computers on two different ISPs. I'm beginning to fear for my sanity.

Sag,
I think it is you and/or your ISP that is causing that problem. I can't recall the site being down during that time frame.
I presume you did do a tracert from your ISP to Days of Wonder?

As Brice said, the server has not been down. Methink your corporate firewall is blocking some ports you need to have open to run the app.

Thank you all. I have contacted Verizon to address the problem. My second troublesome ISP uses Verizon, which appears to be at the heart of the matter. DNS is fine, but the connection is not made. Surprised you haven't had similar queries, as Verizon is a pretty big ISP (and getting bigger).

Check that you don't have a personnal firewall (or any network appliance that might act as a firewall) that could prevent the connections.
Also, I don't want to enter in a flamewar about ISPs, but Verizon blacklisted almost all Europe's e-mail during more than one month, thus refusing all our e-mails (even big European SMTP had a hard time to be whitelisted, and I had to complain more than 3 times before they whitelisted our SMTP servers!).

It's not on the personal machine, as my laptop runs from other locations but not from home. The trace seems to indicate Verizon, and I have put in a trouble ticket.
As for their blacklisting, well, I'm sure the government is involved. There were black helicopters over the house again yesterday. But it's ok -- us democrats have grown pretty used to that.

Apparently "Dynamic Routing" needed to be enabled on my gateway, whatever that is. 'Tis fixed. Sorry for spreading vicious rumors.
