Destination Ticket Pile Sun, 17 July 2011 03:31
I love the new 1.1 update. I've really enjoyed the new pass and play mode when out and about, and my husband is thrilled about the colorblind fix.

One thing that's still bugging me is that there seems to be no way to discover how many destination tickets are still in the draw pile before drawing tickets and discovering that there's only one left -- worth 12 points and connecting things I'm nowhere near. Am I missing something?

The only thing I can suggest is finding out how many destinations are included in a specific game, then subtract the total number of destination cards held by all players. For instance, the base TtR has 35 cards (iirc), so if 4 players each hold 4, 6, 5, and 3, then there would be 17 left in the pile.

This does not work for the swiss map as discarded tickets are not placed back in the deck. One would have to remember how many tickets each player actually drew, and not how many they kept Shocked

I completely agree. It would be really helpful, especially in the Swiss map where it is common to run out of tickets, for there to be an indicator when there is only one destination ticket left.

I'm using version 1.3, btw.
