Scale of units Mon, 05 December 2011 01:52
Hi

I am wondering what the scale of the units are. Not in terms of how many men = one unit but scales like 1:72.

Thanks

Infantry: 1/72 (Airfix, Revell, etc)

Tanks & Artillery: 1/160, or N scale, or 10mm (Perrin, Pendraken, etc)

Airplanes: near 1/300

Very tempting to get some to add to the game, and paint to match-german to german, or a different color to represent the British in NW Europe.

I was always told that the men are 1:72 and the armor is 10 mm. To switch from one scale system to another (ratio scale to height scale) divide 1610 by scale. So 10 mm = 1:161 and 1:72 = 22.36 mm.
Interesting!
