Many of you might already have seen this but for those of you like me, who don't visit BoardGameGeek.com (BGG) as often as this forum, I thought I would share a link to an interesting event last month.
Richard Borg was the Wargame Designer of the month and you can find comments, questions and answers if you click on this link.
Enjoy the read and get to know Richard Borg a little better!

I was a fun thread to follow and Richard hinted about Memoir's future, but Jesse, even someone that visit these forums as rarely( ) as you should have seen me posting this on January 1st when he was named Wargame designer of the month.

Hmm, I don't know how I missed your original post! It was while we were in vacation in Greece, so maybe my brain took a vacation too!!
Anyway, it's nice to see Richard recognized and for people to have a chance to learn what a nice guy he is!

Wargame designer of the month? How about wargame designer of the Millenium?
Guess the guy who invented Chess deserves the Life Time Achievement Award in wargames, but Richard is a close second...

There is a new designer chosen every month. It's not a reward as such, it's more of a place to meet the designers.
This month's designer is Tom Dalglish which designed Hammer of the Scots and founded Columbia Games.

Sorry - jokes translate badly across internet and languages...
But IF there ever was a life-time achievement award for game-design, my reasoning still stands!!
