This counts for all campaigns, play reserves early on, better to win the first scenario then to lose it.
A good start gives rewards and VE rolls.
Although in CB2 some times you don't get rewarded for winning.
Maybe there should have been a point rewarded for not using those tokens in some campaigns?

I have played this campaign four times and it is awesome.
As the Germans there is only one advice: HIT THE GROUND RUNNING AND RUNNING FAST!
Blitzkrieg is the way to go and do your best to get as many objectives as you can.
You need to build a lead early on, because the Russians are coming back big time in phase two.
As the Russians the advice is:
Try to grind down the Germans in the first phase, concentrate on getting medals early to reduce the German lead going into phase two. Protect the objectives and REMEMBER the bonus points you get for your objectives.
My last playing of this campaign was done on vassal pbem and we played all three branches simultanously. That was intense and you really saw the tide shift when you played the first phase in all three branches.
Scoring was very close.
South was 20-20
North was 16-16
Center was 18-19 Axis won.
Awesome game and the tide shifted alot.
Good luck.

That is a great idea. Thinking about playing it in that way with my playmates
