What do you think of these special abilities

I'm from Argentina, so these powers have special funny value for us.
Piqueteros (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Piqueteropicketers): 5 tokens. As long as you have 3 or more tokens in any one region, adjacent regions do not pay VPs (not sure if to make it apply to yourself as well, I think yes)
Sindicalistas (Syndicalists): 4 tokens. You get a "union leader" token. Like the heroes, you can place it in one of your territories at the end of your turn. NO terrain of that type pays VPs. The union leader's region cannot be attacked or affected by opponent's powers or special abilities (like the heroes or dragon)
What do you think?

And a new race:
thieves. 4 tokens. Whenever you conquer an opponent's territory you take 1vp from him. I'd rather like to make it "a random VP coin", but I'm afraid metagame will emerge from trying to take all the small change, some kind of rule should be added to avoid this

Thieves is just ransacking ability (you steal 1 VP from an enemy, each time you conquer a region with an active race). So not anything new there
Syndicalists - I think this is too global. It has too much of an impact on the WHOLE board, which no other abilities have. I don't like it that much, too unbalanced.
Piqueteros - Hmmm, kinda weird I think? I really have a hard time figuring out how you would use them. Because having 3 tokens in some regions means that you have to conquer very FEW regions to benefit from the power. And even when you benefit, you dont really get much benefit? If another player picks that race, I would just conquer anywhere else than besides him. Which would make it hard for him to cash in, since he can't really get any extra VPs

I like your comments, player6916stuffstuff
the idea is to make more of an 'affect the others' set of races. I haven't seen any of the expansions, and I haven't been able to find descriptions, so I don't know.

It might be good to look those expansions up before putting to much more work into your own races or powers, in case they are already available.
You can find them here on the web site by going to each Small World Expansion and looking at their rules. Here's a link for you:

A Power is a Power, a Race is a Race. There can be Ransacking Thieves stealing two coins from opponents, since there can be Pillaging Orcs. I approve of any new race or power as long as the Creator approves of them.
