Wow -- merci beaucoup, Jacques!
Looking through some of the scenarios, I have a couple of questions.
In Arnaville Bridgehead, "The Allied player can place a pontoon bridge as soon as the four units with battlestar reached the opposite bank of the river." Is that a total of one bridge during the game?
And if one of the four units is eliminated, does that mean the Allies can't build a bridge?
In Incheville, if Urban Combat rules are being used, are the early-war SWA units allowed to move and battle on cards like Rattenkrieg, Heat of Battle, and Infiltrators? (I think it's been established that they can't battle on Behind Enemy Lines in the regular Command deck.)
And three new Overlords -- I'm sure we'll be playing at least one of them at WBC this summer!

Hello Sam,
Arnaville Bridgehead:
During the real battle in 1944, US engineers built one pontoon bridge under enemy fire with the shield of smoke. But in the game, you can build one or two if you wish and with the cards you have, why not ? But maybe you can use your action time to do something other than building several bridges.
And yes, you can build a pontoon bridge as soon as the units with battle star have landed (or be destroyed during the crossing).
Incheville:
No, units with early-war SWA can't battle after moving, even with Urban Combat cards.
Battle of Himara and Battle for Oran : there were two misprints in these scenarios which have been repaired now.
Hope you like it !
Yours,
Jdrommel.

Hello all,
yesterday we played Battle of Himara using the Italian artillery provided in EP and the figures from AIRFIX "WWII Italian Infantry". I attach a picture below.

It's a pity we did not have Greek figures....
In our experience this scenario pretty much revolves around the destruction of the artillery unit in Pilur. As Greek player I succeeded in destroying it with just eight dice, while twenty were not enough for my opponent in his turn as Greek. Of course the story of the battle was very different in the two cases.
Thank you Jdrommel for your steady and outstanding contributions to M44 community!
G.

Good pic, g1ul10! I downloaded two of these scenarios to try, thanks JD! I used to write a lot of scenarios, but two years of marriage have slowed me down. But wow, you do turn them out!

I played Operation Lightfoot this afternoon to start the El Alamein campaign. The Axis were winning 11 - 8 yet the Allies won 4 medals in one turn by:
* occupying the El Wiska Oasis objective
* destroying a single model Artillery unit previously retreated from the Oasis
* destroying a single model Armour unit
* destroying a full strength Armour unit with Artillery Bombard!
So 11 - 14 final score.
Thank you JDrommel for creating such a wonderful scenario and Overlord campaign!

"The Field General places the unit anywhere in the first hex row of the area he is in charge."
