Question about mvmt Sun, 15 November 2015 20:56
Can someone help clarify mvmt a little. We had a five minute argument( more of a loud discussion)about the rule. Do you have to include a unfamiliar trail in every move? In other words, can you start on a familiar trail , stop on that trail and then explore(if you have several familiar trails in a row)? Thanks!

You don't have to include an unfamiliar trail. Both references to moving along an unfamiliar trail in the rules include the word "may" in boldface. How did anyone seriously argue this meant moving along an unfamiliar trail was mandatory?
