Formal request for a Print-on-Demand Service Fri, 14 April 2017 10:39
Dear Days of Wonder CEO/Managers:

Please, I kindly request you to consider the implementation of a Print-on-Demand Service (or even outsource it to any well-known online printer websites) limited to the following Card Sets:

+ Summary Cards (including those not released in any Expansion set)
+ Combat Cards (Winter and Urban)
+ Breakthrough Command Cards
+ Overlord Command Cards

Thanks for reading
Kind Regards

I would add the normal command card set also since it is not available via the website anymore. Smile

Geez, does anyone know if, and when, they will reprint the command card set?

Click on my user page and go to the projects page and download a PDF file of them. Also a second file on boardgamegeek.com that contains all of the combat cards as well.

I would suggest to always buy the base game in English. Some expansions are English only.

Where do you live deep side?

Because around Western Europe the base games have been hitting the shops lately.
And I have seen some sold on the internet for very reasonable prizes.

Good to hear. Can you tell us anything about the expansions? I know a lot of people are urgently waiting for those.

I would like the urban combat cards, but Sword of Stalingrad is out of print, right? Will it come back?

I believe the battle map packs are a one shot deal. Once they are gone, they are gone.

Getting the cards reprinted and sold separately would be great as they are the thing that wears out.

Specifically, I'd like to hear about the expansions that recently were available, such as Winter Wars and the Equipment Pack. It would be great to know if there is any intention to reprint them (or if they are currently on a boat somewhere.) I understand keeping future plans hush-hush, but I really wish that Days of Wonder were more like Fantasy Flight in this respect. Once you have made a decision to reprint something it can only help build hype and increase sales to tell people about it.

I agree that selling Card decks separately is a good idea and we, as a community, have suggested this to DoW. Having said that, since the take-over of the company the company has been enormously downsized and just a few people are doing all the work now.

Even though I do not like it I can see why the service of DoW has not been what it was in previous years. Frankly, personally I cannot see how they manage what they do manage at this moment with so few people.

The good news is that they have not and will not abandon Memoir'44, but they have to squeeze it in between all the other old and new games they support as well.

Let's hope in the future more resources within the company can be freed to give M44 more support.

Where do you live? Because I know a place in Germany that still has Winter wars, and I believe I also saw a copy of the equipment pack here in the Netherlands.

On topic: I think a lot of people would like those combat cards, because they were only printed with de Sword of Stalingrad, and I believe there aren't many people that own that one.
Of course there's the combat cards from Winter wars, but those are different.

I also want to have the capability of all summary cards buying. It would be very useful for M44 fans.

Is there any word as to when, or if, the command cards will be put back into print?

Also, I would love to see the Campaign Book Volume 2 be made available for digital download.

Thanks.
