Memoir 44 Dead? Fri, 29 September 2017 22:29
Is this game (system) dead? Is it not going to get any further support? Is a reprint of Campaign books (especially #1) out of the question?

Just a few questions I direct at anyone in the know.

Memoir '44 is far from dead. It just had a new battle map expansion that came out recently and the designer is excited with new content.

A reprint of Campaign Book #1 is out of the question, but you can buy a digital copy of it here on the Days of Wonder web site.

Enjoy!

I'm not "in the know," but I see a growing enthusiasm for Memoir 44 in my corner of the world.

This summer I attended the World Boardgaming Championship (WBC)outside of Pittsburgh (Seven Springs Resort, PA), and the Memoir 44 tournament was so oversubscribed that they had to have two first-round run-offs. People from lots of different countries and so on.

I know that the Airpack is out-of-print and that Winter Wars is a bit hard to find, but they seemed to be the weakest links in many people's minds anyway.

The online game is really great, and it sharpens your skill so you won't get beat the first round at the next World Boardgaming Championship.
