Nations Cup 2018 Schedule	Fri, 28 September 2018 15:44

So assuming Russian team gets itself together, we will have 4 teams. I suggest a Round Robin. Oct 1-10 - A v. B : C v. D October 11-20 - B v. C : A v. D October 21-30 - D v. B : C v. A Then the top 2 advance to finals. As I state that though, I realize in most such instances, the records often end up being 3-0, 1-2. 1-2, 1-2, or 2-1, 2-1, 2-1, 0-3. Rarely does it come away clean like: 3-0, 2-1, 1-2, 0-3. So we will really need to figure a proper tie-breaker, especially with the strong potential of a 3 way tie. Now the one way we could be helped is the potential for 2-2 clashes. So could see records 2-0-1, 1-0-2, 1-1-1, 0-3 etc. [Report message to a moderator]

Yes each clash is 4 players. What I meant by schedule was teams A, B, C, D

Simply games won/lost ratio, most games won etc...like in a soccer tournament?

1: overall clash results (out of 3) 2. overall match results (out of 12) 3. overall game results (out of 72) 4. head to head clash result in RR with tiebreaker in order of 1234 In the unlikely events all 4 are tied, then a one game playoff with #1s in the h2h clash in tiebreaker 4, random start. I know the likelihood of this happening is very very very slim, but what about 3 way tie after TB 1 2 3? edit: is France joining? FWIW, For our match yesterday, both of us tried opening with the proper setting for observation. But it didn't work. When Stas invited me with the same setting, then others could watch. Not sure if that's an anomaly or what. Ross [Report message to a moderator]

In the previous days we had problems trying to observe matches of people that have aborted games still open. Maybe not your case but try to check if resume button is active.

I don't think abandoning a NC game is a proper way to sort that out. Better to test in not a NC game asking someone to observe or just open with invitations (with alternation) that does work fine for sure. [Updated on: Wed, 10 October 2018 20:48] [Report message to a moderator]
