C_G, note that it has a different name -- not simply "Air Pack." There have been rumors of a new one for a while.
In that thread, someone asked when it's coming, and the French Memoir Federation responded, "La date de sortie n’est pas encore annoncée. Le jeu est en phase d’élaboration. Patience." "The date hasn't been announced. It's still in the development [that's how Google is translating it] phase." It must be real enough for DOW to show this in public.

it's the artwork that "worries" me.
It doens't look like memoir'44. I liked the "cartoonish" style of the drawings. these colors are brighter and the drawing is sharper.
Maybe I need to get used to it, but at this time I liked the old style more.
Is there another artist involved?

I don't care about box artwork, I want to know if they've changed the rules any. Did they drop the "air check" system (like a hot potato)? Will ground units now be able to shoot at airplanes (like in my air rules)?

Yes, on my user page. There are rules for bombing, (real) ground interdiction, air interdiction, recon, kamikazee, heroic leader transport, strafing, and ground based anti-air artillery units.

On the other hand, the illustration of F4U Corsair is only an attempt I hope:
The American badge was worn under the right wing (right intrados) and on the left wing (left extrados), contrary to the drawing. 
Moreover for the period 39-45 which interests us; F4U-1D in black and white in 1944-1945, there was no red in the middle of the badge; the red line presents late 1947 as on the F4U-4 in color.
