Problems with newest Mac OS (Big Sur) Sun, 15 November 2020 19:53
I just installed the latest Mac OS on my laptop. As I have come to expect with recent Mac OS updates, Memoir '44 no longer runs. However, this time it is different--the app does not launch at all. I just get a string of text telling me that there is a problem. The fixes that worked before (modifying a copy of legacy Java so that it could be installed, and then downloading some new code for the cacerts file) no longer work. Does anyone have any idea of how to fix this?

Yeah, the same happened here. I wouldn't have even updated if I had thought about all the trickery we had to do to get it running on Catalina. Sad
