Make your own battlemaps using Inkscape and Photoshop tutorial Sat, 27 February 2021 05:00
Hello, I made this tutorial on how to make full size, high res battlemaps you can print out and play. I'm working with copyrighted images so this is for personal use only. If you have questions, you can ask here or youtube. Enjoy!!

Hi Jon,

Thanks for the tutorial. One issue that I am running into when trying to save the document from Inkscape into a pdf format. When I open the pdf map, the objects all have black boxes behind them. Have you encountered this? Prior to saving in Inkscape, I ensured that everything was in the same layer. I am not sure what I am doing wrong. Any thoughts you have are appreciated.

Thanks.

Export it as a PNG. Then you can open that in your editor of choice and save it as a PDF. I had the same thing, just a bunch of black boxes.
