Merlin Question Fri, 21 October 2005 04:02
So, lets say that you are on a combat quest (solo or group)...and the quest completes.

You turn over the face down black cards and they trump your white cards. Can you THEN use a Merlin to negate the effect of the last played black card on that quest if you have not yet performed your heroic action...this is probably a sequence related question.

Also, when you DO play a Merlin as your heroic action, can you negate the last black card played on a quest even if that last black card has been played many, many turns ago?

Thanks!

In the moment when the Quest is completed, you cannot take any action so Merlin can't save you. You must use Merlin first, then play the last white card if you want to be "more sure" about victory. Wink

Yes, you may use Merlin on a card played several turns earlier.
