Convention or get togethers?

Hi guys! Just wondering if there are any ticket to ride conventions or get togethers? My fiancé and I met playing on the ticket to ride game app and we are huge fans.

I moved this over here to the Ticket to Ride forums so hopefully it gets some more visibility from dedicated TTR players.
I know that in the past Days of Wonder has run events for some of their games at Board Game Conventions like GenCon but I don't know of any specifically Ticket to Ride conventions.
Maybe you could start one in your area!
