Hill to hill combat Mon, 15 June 2015 09:41
Can't find an answer in the rulebook or in the FAQ so I'm here again with a question.

Using example E as defined here: http://www.daysofwonder.com/memoir44/en/editor/view/?id=1096

Do the units shoot at each other with 2 dices or is there a -1 because the hills are not part of a plateau?

In example E there is no terrain dice reduction. So the infantry shoots two dice across at the other hill.

The plateau effect I believe only applies for line of sight and I found this in the FAQ - Pg 7 Hills:

"The plateau explanation in the rules is there because hills are the only type of terrain, besides ergs & ridges, that doesnʼt block line of sight when they are in a contiguous group."
