We've played it twice now Wed, 09 November 2005 16:43
After having the game for over a month Shocked I finally got enough guys to show up to play it. A couple still couldn't show so we ended up playing w/ a total of 4 players - all of us obviously newbies.

We got our butts handed to us the first game.

The second game we nailed the 7 white swords right off the bat and had to 'hang on' until we could end the game. Even then we seemed to just make it.

Without going into actual strategy because I'd like the obvious things to dawn on us naturally, the game seemed like we won it by the skin of our teeth. I'd imagine that that's the ideal scenario for a balance game.

But for the seasoned players, the question is does it seem easier/harder w/ more/less players?

Thanks

And one kind of funny dynamic occured the second game.

There was one player on a quest. As he was about to finish it, another player jumped in and basically stole the prize from him.

He started another quest and same thing!

This happends all the time.
Especially Sir Tristan has this annoying habit whereas Sir Palamedes at least has the courtesy of announcing his arrival one turn in advance...
Cool

STOLE? There's nothing like "stealing": they both gain the Life Point(s), they must share the cards (but this is beneficial as they can be split in the more convenient way for the group: even all to the "hard working" knight and none to the "thief") and the White Swords are added to the Round Table... if you refer to the Relics: the Grail is used to resurrect a knight, so it doesn't matter WHO has it, the Armour can't be "stolen" being won in a "solo quest", so only Excalibur remains to be "stolen"... but once more, it should be awarded (if the option exists) to whoever NEEDS it more. You're a team. Explain it to the "thief". Wink
Of course, if you're using Loyalty cards, it may be time for an accusation! Very Happy
Have fun! Smile
