Days of Wonder Announces new Small World expansion – Be Not Afraid...
5 new fantasy races and 5 Special Power badges, plus a new storage tray
Los Altos, CA; Paris, France – September 9, 2010. Today, Days of Wonder announced Small World – Be Not Afraid... - a mini expansion to the award-winning fantasy civilization board game. Be Not Afraid... introduces 5 new Small World races – Barbarians, Homunculi, Leprechauns, Pixies and Pygmies; plus 5 Special Power badges – Barricade, Catapult, Corrupt, Imperial and Mercenary.
Also included with Be Not Afraid... is a new storage tray solution that fits the tokens of all existing Small World expansions (even the rumored Necromancer Island!) in a single, easy to sort, easy to access, container.
This expansion requires a copy of the original Small World board game and is compatible with all previous expansions. It will be introduced at the Essen Game Fair and available in late October at better game stores around the world. Suggested price $20/€18.
